This brother and sister have been in the air for about 10/12 days and were being taught to chase and catch prey mostly by Dad. There are quite a few pairs along the northern beaches near Sydney. The girl is bigger and on the left.
I spent 3 days up there battling the wind and mild vertigo. Most of the action was far away but just great to watch. And quick.

Pretty incredible to get two of them, so good work on that front. The lighting looks really harsh, so there's no much color on the birds, unfortunately. I feel the whole from leans cold/blue, but we'll need to hear what others have to say on that front.

Hi Ian ... agree this is an incredible shot . very cool to have two in the same image and maybe very near in the focal plane . Pose of the right bird is great

AS presented the image does show quite dark darker tones masking any potential detail and the color blue is quite over represented ... IMHO .

How cool! Agree with the guys above, a bit cold in WB and contrasty as well. Good comp. and I like the interaction between the two falcons.
