Really sweet light! Love the low angle, shallow DOF and gradient BG. Really nice work!

    A typical Dorian image
Well captured and the head turn took this up a notch .
I do like the overall color palette and the soft tones .
Just a very pleasing shot with youir typical low POV .... very well done.
Can see a version with an overall tonal boost as a variant

Hi Dorian, sweet image of this wee one. Your lovely low POV, crawling in the sand again... I think you can get more detail from the white on the head with more careful processing of just that area. Nice image, thank you for sharing.

Low is good; with raised near foot is even better. Lovely light, color and HA. Nicely done.

Very nice Dorian. The feather detail is excellent .I just wonder if the whites on the face and neck are a bit hot as I think Joseph has alluded to above.

Great image, foot up, HA, focus, BG all spot on. Whites aren't blocked but the image has a bit of a washed out feel. Left levels slider @ 15 added some texture and only blocked the black in the nostril.

All - thanks for the feedback. I will tame the face when I return from my next birding guiding gig, this time in NM for 9 days. Hanging in Rockport, TX until that adventure starts on Friday. Cheers!
