    Default Windmill repost

    Ok. I think I did what you guys asked me to. :D
    I went out and tried it again this evening. The sky wasn't as pretty but it did have a few lovely clouds to the west of my windmill. I set the aperture to f/22 and the shutter speed to 1/13 sec.
    Tonight I used my 50mm f/1.8 lens on the canon 40D. I figured I could get some really good shots with this setup. And I used my tripod.
    :confused::D;)

    Comments and Critics welcome and appreciated. Thanks!

    Very good Sharna! Now if you can shoot the windmill from the original spot again, you can use similar settings to sharpen it up. This version is cool with the windmill blades blurred. The tree in the bottom left does balance the image it is distracting to me, so I removed it. What do you think? Dan Brown

    H Sharna Nice having a windmill handy !!!!!

    I like what you are doing with the slow shutter speed but not sure you need to stop down so much. Will bring out every little speck of dust in your sensor, might want to lower the ISO as much as possible.

    Like the evening colors very much, might try framing a little different. I lke the re post very much and would like seeing a little more of the windmill or maybe just a real tight image and isolate a part. Lots of possibilities here and just might giving me hint for a future motif !!!! ....... might get you a twenty lash pardon certificate :)

    Thanks Everyone! :D

    Oh my.....I get a pardon on the lashings? :D Yippie for me :p

    I'll work on your suggestions Al and post something here as to not take up any more room on the board with this one. But I do like your ideas. I'm heading to a bbq now and wont be back on until later this evening.

    Thanks for the big compliments. I really appreciate them.

    Hi Sharna, very nice work. I like the tiny amount of reddish tinged sky we see through the windmill.
