    Pangolin Basil?

A very gentle image Basil, good job it managing not to crop a subject which can be easy done in the heat of the moment, but more to the left would help, just a wee bit tight. Techs and detail appear good and enough SS to freeze things, just miss the trailing water you often get from a drinking frame. If you have it then a sliver more below I think, needs a bit more weighty to balance the frame. Shooting from a small boat can be tricky, hence why I asked was it Pangolin, however providing it was safe to do so, lying down, arm stretched just above the water line would have offered a more interesting POV I feel. I know how difficult that might been and even harder with a 500 with Walruses, but a big advantage with Mirrorless and the tilt screen.

    TFS Lets see more!!!!

A peaceful, tranquil scene from the Chobe and nice drinking pose from the eles.

Good techs, colours look good, framing about right, a bit more on the LHS would be nice if you have it.

Never easy to get all your subjects to cooperate when it comes to a herd of elephants...very well done, Basil

Thank you so much for sharing,

    Kind regards,

Very nice shot, the overall scene really does have my attention, I like the composition and I tried not to look at previous comments , having said that I think they are good. My only point for consideration would be to lower the brightest highlights.

A pleasing overall scene Basil, that just says the Chobe for me, the drinking trio anchors the frame, nicely seen.

Beautiful scene. I've only shot elephants across water, and this same side view is much more interesting. The drinking trio is great, and I like the varied ages wandering around behind. You really get a sense that they're individuals within a group.

All the techs look goo, so great work on that front. I agree with some of the others that a bit more room a left would help, if you have it. But, regardless, a wonderful image!
