    This Fairy martin was nice enough to pose for me...just wish it had been on a nearby branch! basic adjustments in acr, ps and Topaz. Cheers.

    Paul:

    Sharp on the eyes and face with gentle fall off in DOF on the body. Nicely exposed. If you had time, a couple shoots at a smaller f/stop might have been interesting to compare to wide open.

    I like the fluffed feathers.

    Perch is what it is, but I certainly hav seen more bothersome. I think the neutral color that blends in well with the bird helps reduce it's impact.

    Hi Randy,
    Thank you for the feedback. I did take a number of photos at f7.1 but liked this pose better, and both feet were not any more in focus than this one. Cheers.
