    Another image from Kruger Park, using the car as a blind, I am finding local birdlife rather sparse at the moment so I am reviewing some old files. The position of the branch in front of the bird is a little unfortunate but I thought worth a post.

    First thing I noticed too was the branch. Other than the branch in front I like the rest old wood with Character and nice detail on the bird. TFS

    I agree about that branch, but will also add the light angle was not best with the face in shade - perhaps more head turn towards us would have lit it up. Details, processing, and vertical comp all work nicely.
