    This year's shorebird migration started out promising, but soon fizzled out, but I did not despair as is needed to make me happy is one cooperative subject, no matter the species. This young Sanderling was the lone subject for a couple of mornings, so I spent all my time with it. Here it chose one of the cleaner areas of the beach to pose in. And yes, I was wet as per usual after this session

    Canon R6 + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/640s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, handheld, FF, spot-removed a few offending spots and specks, contrast and saturation to taste.

    Beautiful bird. I have yet to get one. Like the hint of green in the background. Nice clean shot .Wish I only had to get wet. Here in Nd figure on rolling in the muck also. TFS

    I would call this a typical " Daniel" ..... no watermark needed
    Top notch Daniel , no nits just enjoying the overall image .
    Love the patches of green breaking the overall nice monotony ....

    This is pretty fantastic Daniel!

    A really pretty composition. Low as you can go.

    The white subject really pops and I love the dash of green just behind. A treat, TFS!
