Sitting at outdoor coffee bar at Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, Az I saw this pair of these relatively tame birds flying in and out of the open patio.
    Canon 20D w 70-300mm IS lens at 235mm, 1/250 sec @ f/8.0, ISO 400 internal flash.
Handheld. The color is true to life. The birds are gorgeous.

Oh wow.....I believe this had to be one of the best shooting locations available. You could setup a tripod and shoot with one hand while holding the latte in the other. The composition is nice as is the sharpness and detail and I like the pose. It seems a little bright on my screen and I would probably clone out the yellow circle to the right of the head and perhaps the white "stick" on the left of the image.

A very nicely exposed image. I agree that the yellow spot could be removed and I would have liked a kittle more room at the bottom. However, it is a lovely picture.

That should read a 'little' more room. Sorry.

People who have seen this bird can be divided into two classes: Those who can't spell it and those who can't pronounce it. I count myself in both.

Beautiful capture. The color of the bird is perfect on my monitor.

Very nice bird and pose. The color is outstanding. It seems a little bright, so I used the levels adjustment to tone it down a bit.

Thanks. I am going to have to recalibrate my main monitor (I have two and I can't get them the same).
