    Default African Penguin (South Africa)

    I've given you full-body and environmental images of penguins in the last week, so may as well round it out with a close-cropped portrait.

    Canon 600mm f/4 IS II on EOS R5
    1/2000 at f/7.1, ISO 800
    Processed in LR CC. Cloned a few bright bits on the darker feathers. And a bit of grass hanging off the beak.

    Nice detail and texture, soft light. Looks like a studio shot with the uniform background. I am surprised you were able to take backgrounds with you on your travels!

    Hi Dorian .... glad to see you had the chance to shoot a portrait , if not at Boulders , i would ask where then ???
    Looks very nice as presented with a good head turn and the comp is top notch . Detail, shharpness and tones well procressed . Man that eye is killer
    Just wish for the color grading of the two other penguin you have posted ....
