    Default Pika

Attended a friend's wedding in Keystone, Colorado after returning from Africa and managed to sneak up to Loveland Pass (11,992') one morning.
Was hoping for ptarmigan but was stoked to find this cooperative Pika as consolation.

Carrying my rig around at that altitude was not easy...

Hi Dorian, great colour palette, although is the perch a tad dominant, may be loosing about an inch off the foot, ie the OOF rock, but not sure? Be nice to have seen a little more of the feet but easier said than done. Are there not getting 'stores in' ready for hibernation around now?

    Hello Dorian,

Super cute little chap and I like the pose. Lovely colours and tonally the frame looks good overall ( rocks and everything ). Very nice background.
Would love to see a ptarmigan image from you...Had to ask Mr. Google about it, first time to hear of this avian species

Thank you so much for sharing,

    Kind regards,

Very well shown I like him perched up there, if it was cropped I could see a version smaller in frame too.
Have to admit I don't envy you carrying that equipment at that altitude!
