Attention grabbing composition, gentle adequate sharpening and ideal colours. Not a whole lot wrong with this! I like it.

Looks great Steve, colours spot on, so is DoF, those eyes make the image.

Love the pose. Nice framing. Great detail and sharpness at 1/100s, wow. BG also very nice
Would not change a thing, I like it as presented. Wonderful work as always

    Warmest regards,

Looks good. I really like the animal looking off into space. Detail is great across the subject. Can't beat proximity!

    Thanks guys,

Yes indeed a blast from the past Andreas, but as I have said before, if the 'Techs' are correct it doesn't matter what you shoot with and with the advancements in Software, you can be pleasantly surprised. Yes Gabriela 1/100 crazy with it was the start of trusting the camera to deliver and the 1DX was the 'Game changer' for that period, now as you know cameras are so advanced you can capture anything without sadly too much skill.

Dorian I love the 70-200f/2.8 and wished I could shoot more, now swopped out to RF glass, things can only get better.

Gabriela, I was uncertain re the eye's, but they don't always have to engage with the viewer in my book.

Those eyes make this image, Steve. At least for me

The detail and exposure is spot on however as said it is the eyes that make the image imo. Awesome result. I grew up in Durban SA where troops of these vervets were pretty much a part of daily life.
