I liked the slight overflow of water on this one, it made for something different.....HH, ...ACR, Topaz DN and PS.

Super shot like the composition and colours. I would suggest increase detail slightly in the top water and maybe reduce the sharpening on the bird a little bit. (Looks just borderline oversharp to me in PSCC).

This is another stunner despite the "slightly" and the "little bits." Perhaps I should ban those words here,.

Had you been able to raise the camera two inches you would have eliminated the merge of the green BKGR with the top of the bird's head. The soft light is sublime.

A nice result in what looks like challenging conditions; woulda been nice to have to foot completely frozen and the tail in focus, but you did as well as you could given the light limitations.

That said, the setting is very interesting, even if I can't figure out exactly what's going on with the two water levels! I love the steely tones and soft reflection. Artie's suggestion about shooting
higher is interesting, but you might have ruined the layered water and/or reflection to minimize the green.

Will, this frame definitely has a unique, yet ethereal feel to it. Sort of 'dreamy' in a sense.

I agree, that little waterfall effect is cool. Despite the off-angle light you processed it pretty well in terms of shadows and brighter areas. Do see Jon's comments that it presents a touch crispy on the breast feathers and neck/shoulder, but only minor.

Would've been great to have that lifted foot in focus, but totally get it. Not a frame-breaker at all. You could make a case for a pano crop here too.

Enjoyed this one, something a little different. Nicely done.

What is wrong with those words Artie? I use similar terms at times.

Hi Will, try cropping 16x10 from the bottom RHC, then darken the FG up to the stone, and again bring a gradient to darken the top partially, job done.

Artie if we all had the same opinion as you we would have no discussion or suggestions! if you disagree with my comments that's just fine say you don't think they are a good idea or you have alternative suggestions. If I had said the water needed a ton of Clarity or contrast or Texture I would be wrong, I felt it needed a little enhancement - I tried it and in my opinion it worked. I don't inderstand your objection.

Nice image, Will. I like the raised foot, low POV, feather detail and complimenting background. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Will ... very nice overall with itīs simplicity !!!
Nice tones , colors and reflection ...
I can see a version with gradient from top and a slight one from the bottom to have the full brightness in the center , just an idea .
