    A dramatic image with a dead solid perfect preening head angle. The BKGR rocks. Love the splayed neck feathers with the black skin below. If it were mine, I'd eliminate one or two of the larger white spots on the black portion of the bill

    The BG here makes this image stand out....Looking good Mike....Lovely detail on the whites...I really like the feather detail on the head....I like the crop...Nice work.

    Exposure and details don't get any better, and the BG makes for a very dramatic result as others have noted. Helps when the birds stand on your face like they do at this location! Nicely done regardless!

    I like it Mike ... well controlled whies ans lovely fine details rendered !!!
    At first i wasn´t sure about the visible black skin , but second look said it is ok .
