I revisited some of my files from India and ended up with a very different interpretation from similar files submitted. The sun was extremely bright and itwas slightly hazy.
Steve, Andreas, I suspect you will see some magenta in the grasses at the water line (??), I had a look and see much difference removing magenta in the raw file.

Hi Jon, I quite like the symmetry, but is it you use a pre crop or something as you have this obsession with more above and too little at the foot???? I think going more pano with equal amounts top and bottom will look better, hopefully you have more content below?

I would darken the reflection/FG and adding a Midtown Curves and a Darks Levels I think adds, but for whatever reason the new MacBook Pros seem to display images at their true native size, so your 1900px is around 5 inches!!! Also these screen look like 4k screens, less than idea for PP work, nature never looks like this.

Steve the crop is 4:3 on the sensor I don't think the image was cropped if so minimally. No more room below. Maybe a little higher in the frame would have been better - the image was taken from a moving boat. No obsession with positioning!
The suggestions regarding reflection sound good... regard the Macbook sounds like an awful lot of money has been spent on something less than ideal??? I have never gotten my head around the need for a laptop I have a PC that's enough for me. I take images take them home process them there.

I think Jon it might be worth when framing just move the camera down to add some extra space and will offer better options.

    Dear Jon,

Love what you captured here. Agree with going more pano, I also feel you could add more emphasis to the subject as well as reflection

Hope you have a great rest of the week,

    Warmest regards,

I agree on the space below however it is still a wonderful result creating interesting lines and angles which definately draw the eye.

Hi Jon ... always cool to photograph Crocodiles .
I do like the good vision to the subject and for sure the reflection !!!
Comp is not ideal ... agree with the others .
To me it does look a bit " dark " overall , matter of taste ..... from my side .
Personally i would try to make the croc stand out more from the FG and BG .... albeit it might have been that flat light .
