Default Lil Pretty - A boisterous juvenile Tiger Shark

I should have been in Guadaloupe for the Great White Sharks but unfortunately the Mexican government have closed the reserve off to boats for this season, so the bucket list trip is now in 2024. Instead I managed a few more days with the Tigers at Tiger Beach.

This is a very confident female juvenile by the name of Lil Pretty. About 10 feet long so maybe another 4 feet to go yet, but she's certainly not shy. I love the younger sharks as the stripes are more prominent than their older sisters.

Shot using a special underwater port that is water corrected and designed so a cheap kit lens behind it way outperforms an expensive wide zoom behind a traditional dome port

Super shot Mike the light looks very good as does the detail, the stripes are clearly visible. The colour palette is very appealing.

****, that's great. Love the fish, but the blue surroundings really steal the show. A really beautiful result.
