Lovely shot, nice soft even light, good detail and bonus trailing droplets.
I like the background hills for depth and don't mind the ridge intersecting the wing.
Looking good Jon....Almost 3D look about it here.....The BG compliments the bird perfectly....I like the flight pose and the feather detail....nice HA....

Nice one Jon, just watch the clipping in the dark tail. Trailing droplets are a nice bonus. 'Perhaps' a tad more sharpening add some Saturation and a Curves Midtone and... 'Bingo'!

Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
Man, that near wing simply rocks! The BG is very nice and gives us the sense of mountainous habitat you go this bird in. Although the intersecting line of the mountains is not 100% it is not too bad. I'm really liking this one.
