Hello guys finally I got something a little longer, a DA* 300, so this morning I went with Oscar and another guys to the Long Key rookery in Broward county.
Pentax K10, DA* 300 f 4, ISO 500 , f 5.6, 1/1000, tripod, ballhead, 9:30 am.
I think it would be better if the ISO was set at 400.
C & C very much needed and appreciated:)

Excellent Albert. Very sharp and focused, awesome background.
Congrats on the new lens and it was a great time today. Hot as heck, but we had a great time.
Great capture.!!!!
Congratulations Alberto,
You made it...:D:p:p Now you have to maintain, and I will make sure that you do because I will be right there alongside... Hey buddy I like it very much The open wing is a big plus, you have great sharp details and the background just makes this image pop...congrats again...
Yes to quite lovely. A crop from the bottom of the letters in your name would make the COMP perfect. Love the sharpness and the light coming through the wings. The hot spot on the right side of the head was caused by the side/back light. It could be repaired with some excellent QM work by grabbing the dark side of the head, lightening and flopping it, and covering the hot pixels. All in all, excellent.
