This immature Broad-billed Hummingbird was very territorial over the feeder. I have never witnessed this pose before, so I was happy to get it. Natural light and background

Such fun behavior Kurt. Not a pose often seen so great timing!

Really lovely colors all around, like the green to tan/orange mix. I think I can see one spec of blue under the chin :-)

One thing you might try is just a little selective sharpening around the eye, see what you think. But all in all, a beaut!

Looking good Kurt and yes to a little more sharpening around the eye area....Apart from that I wouldn't change a thing.....Lovely colours throughout.

    Hey Kurt ..
what a pose of this little monster , I know hummingbirds can be very aggressive amongst each other ... so cool you captured this behavior !!
Color ., tones and crop / comp looking spot on to me .
I do agree that a touch more sharpening would be nice and be even necessary

    Great work and TFS Andreas

Looks spot on to me in PSCC (on the browser the eye does look a tad soft).

As good as all your previous hummer frames. Open beak really makes this memorable. Bravo.
