Captured this frame at Nickerson Beach (Long Island, NY) while visiting my family on the East Coast in June.
Canon 600mm f/4 IS II on EOS R5
1/4000 at f/5.6, ISO 800
Processed in LR CC and Topaz. Removed two darker blades of grass which I found distracting.
Very nice Dorian! Love the pose, head angle/eye contact. Love the BG and FG green too. Sharp and well processed.
Really sweet flight image of this species! Love the grasses in the frame, the BG, the bird angle, etc. Very nicely done!

nice frame, yet to capture one of these guys in good light up close. I fell the one with wings full down would have been even better but take this any day
