I captured this image in my backyard at the Fire Bush. I think this is a juvenile male, it has one small spot of red on the throat. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciate. Thank you for viewing.

Wow that SS paid off, excellent focus and good DOF colours look very natural (not that I have ever seen one!) A pleasing gradual change of colour in the background
Excellent natural light result. I particularly like the view of the tiny feet. Bird's body is nice and sharp! This is where a 4x5 vertical crop would work well as there is tons of empty space above and below. You certainly have the detail to show the subject larger.

Hi Jon, thank you for viewing and commenting, Steve has drummed into me using and higher shutter speed for a sharper image, he is correct.

Thanks Dorian, nice to have you back. I liked the background a lot, that's why I went 2x3. I will do another version with a 4x5.

Hi Joe ... this looks awesome !!!
Not only the subject and the very pleasing BG , works for me as presented .
Very nice to see no obvious artifacts !!!!
Only thing I might try as an alternative ... give the subject a tad more brightness , but not a must .
