    Default Atlantic Puffin from Newfoundland

Back from 6 weeks in South Africa, Swaziland, and Namibia. Trip was amazing, and I'll be posting shots once I start the editing. It was mostly birding (415 species) with the wife in-tow, but I did end up with a nice panel of frames when it was all done.

Here is a held-over puffin from my Newfoundland tour just before I left for Africa. Nothing special; just a nice look at this cute bird.

Very nice. I love the dark BG and neat6 "perch". I love the way the foot curls and semi-wraps around the bend of the rock. Looking forward to your trip's images as well!

I like this one a lot Dorian. The bkg absolutely absent of light and tones really makes the Puffer pop.

Sweet comp with the little clump of grass in LLC and the rock leading to the right. Sharp and overall nicely done!!
