I would have liked a better head angle here, but it flew away after I took 2 frames. However, I do like this one

D500/500PF, 1/1000thy sec@f5.6, iso1600. Basic adjustments in ACR and PS. Almost full frame. Cheers.

Hi Paul, beautiful colored bird, lovely color and details. If mine I might take a little off the left side, maybe a 4x5 rather than a 2x3. I like the subtle change of color at the top of the frame so I wouldn't change that. Nice image, thank you for sharing.

Beautiful bird Paul and what a lovely image. Too bad on the head angle. I'm ok with it. I agree with Joe love that green at the top compliments with the green foliage. Looks fine overall nice image crop could go either way. TFS.

Lovely image, Paul. Soft colors all work well together. I'd lose the green stripe at the top of the frame, but that's entirely personal preference. Foliage in front of post also helps to mask the man made perch a bit. Detail on the bird looks great, and I think the head angle is passable. Nice work.

Yes to a bit better head angle, and I am personally on the fence in regards to the green strip above, but everything else is super. These guys sport a great hue of pink on their feathers!
