hi folks ... a somehow comical aspect happened during my shooting with the Squirrels at that location in Austria .
without even being noticed , from my side , while taking images of the scene .. as all happened in split seconds .
hope you like it as well , would have been nicer to have the eye open ... but it wasn't the case .

    canon eos R3
    ef 500 is l ii + 1,4 tc
    tripod

    f 8 , iso 1250 , 1/2000 sec , man exp

processed with dpp 4 and pscc 2022 , cropped from horizontal for a better comp , added a bit of canvas to the top

thanx for watching and commenting to my previous posting

    cheers Andreas

Looks great to me and I think the closed eye is just fine, it as probably closed in response to the paw of the other squirrel. Low angle shows subjects to good effect, it works for me.

Looks as if he bumped his head, the little one! And getting some comfort from the big brother

Very cute and it had me smiling from ear to ear, Andreas. Thank you so much for sharing!

    Kind regards,

Owning 2 young big bouncy dogs I get the appeal of this shot as it mimics the play behaviour I see too many times a day! Good fun frame with a nice low angle and I'm glad the left hand squirrel has come up into the light
