hi folks a proud looking Eider ... at least for me .
just entered the beach on the dune of Helgoland .
just went away from my beloved grey seals to photograph some of these ducks , as after a few minutes there were about six of them on the beach . had to move slowly as they were quite skittish

Super shot, I like the composition and the colours look spot on. Details are visible throughout all the plumage. The all important eye is sharp and the feet are clearly visible, background is unobtrusive and I like the pebbles in the sand. For me nothing to dislike and plenty to like.
