oh Nonda, that bird looks so intent! lol good catch. Are those water drops from its back wing? I'd like to see the bird bigger in order to see all its details. it looks sharp! very nice lighting. gee, I just don't have the photo expertise to find anything to improve on this. that will have to come from someone better than I am. But I like the picture! You can just about see 'him' walk right out of the image!
Nicely done Nonda,
I like the capture; its placed just right in the frame. The colors and hues of the background are fantastic. You have good eye contact and great details on the bird. Good eye contact and head angle...
Love the BKGR, the basic COMP, and the splash. The bird's head is turned slightly away from the imaging sensor and with the light fromt he right, the shadow on the back of the neck makes the bird appear cut out. If one wing had ot be drooped the near-wing would have been much better.

James, I cropped the image to make it (bird) bigger because it was requested? The only thing I can add to the info would be manual mode, what else would you like?
I like the repost much better although the first one was quite good. Love that you got that intent look on his face and the splash was a great bonus as was the beautifully lit water!!!
A winner, super capture, love everything about it ~ you did well Young Lady, and after looking at a lot of your photos from day one, I think you rang the bell with this photo!
Hi Nonda,
I like the background, fantastic combination of rich earth tones. Bird is placed just right in frame and you have good details...congrats...
love the light and the contrast in this, nonda. in an image like this one i dont mind the bird being smaller in the frame. it's more telling a story like that than having it bigger in the frame. the bg is killer!!
