Nicely done. I love the outstretched talons. I wish the birds head were turned ever-so slightly toward us so that the plane of the eagle's face were parallel to us. As it, the eye is somewhat shaded by the steep forehead.

Hi Jon, I like this, especially with the talons outstretched, but to me the image carries a heavy cast. Not saying the RP is ideal, but hopefully you can see the direction.

Wonderful capture, bait or no bait. Love the pose, outstretched talons and wings. Steve's RP does help remove the yellowish cast.

Thanks for the feedback every one, I agree the colours are a bit off in the original post, here is hopefully an improvement, I have left the bait in the sea.

Great pose from this beautiful eagle, love the focused look and outstretched talons. Well framed too.

RP works better for me in terms of colours, and Steve's version has more detail and definition on the subject.

Very nice work, Jon - a pleasure to view

I like it Jon...that facial expression ....wow....I would say...something between Steve's RP and your RP would fix that cast....Fab feather detail and those talons.....

hi Jon ... love this dynamic image , very very well captured !!!
as we can see from the different versions , there is a ton of options how to process this image in terms of color and tones . all versions do have their pros and cons ... so up to you how to see the things on the processing front . but I can't see any yellow cast in your OP .... not even the eyedropper does show it , nor a average blur show yellow cast .

a pleasure to view and tfs Andreas
