    Yellow-breasted Chat from this past spring. Semi-staged I think. Taken at one of my favorite spots for warblers, an east facing tree line with 15-20 ft. of brush at the base bordering a grassy field.
    I had dragged out a bunch of dead branches the previous fall and shoved them partially into the brush for perches, I'm pretty sure this was one of them. I didn't need to use audio, the bird was
    popping out and calling for a mate on a regular basis. Mild crop. processed primarily with DxO.

    F5.6, iso400, 1/1600s

    Nicely done. I've been trying for years to get a clear shot of this species, with no luck. I'd take a bit off the bottom and add to the top. Otherwise looks very good to me.

    Lovely shot, I agree the subject is a tad high in the frame.
