Nicely done Jonathon, sharp and well exposed.
I would be tempted to crop more pano by removing the builiding and water.

Agree with Colin, the building and white H need to go by cropping or cloning them out. Nice otherwise.

Colin, Jack I left the building there deliberately to show the location of the bird in the surroundings. I initially did remove it but then changed my mind, it would not have been likely anyone would have worked out the location otherwise..

Hi Jon, works for me, good you got the horizon nice and level. Don't tell me, the buildings, it's a canning factory.

Typical Mull weather within minutes it goes from misty cloud and rain to sunshine.
That's typical, all four seasons in one, nothing unusual.

    Was the subject baited?

Thanks Steve, at this point I suppose I could say the subject was not baited, but it was of course baited after it was seen to be approaching. Subsequent "action" images I will be posting have all been baited.

Love the sharp bird. Not a fan of the background. Hate the building. I see the building, but I have no idea where it is. Perhaps you might try a pano crop and then tell the folks where it is :)

hi Jon ... nice flight shot , well captured .
personally do not see the need of showing buildings in the fore or background , but your call .
all else does look good to me .might push the subject a bit more to make it more pop .... you have chosen a rather conventional approach

    tfs Andreas
