hi folks long ago that a crocodile was posted ... so I thought after stumbling over some files , I give it ago to keep the variety high.

image taken in a small river arm of the South Luangwa river in Zambia .

I got out of the car to get a halfway decent shooting angle ... just took a couple of shots as Anette was yelling behind , I should not go too close . so before trouble with her arises I thought go back to the car ....

I like this it gives me a good impression of the almost prehistoric era of giant reptiles! Textures and colours are spot on, I like the vegetation on the croc and the dragonfly who happens to be flying past - with ideal wing position! I see the fine bubbles around the croc - perhaps he is communicating to his pals - hey here comes dinner complete with camera

thanx Jon ... for your comment .
yes dinner was close , but got away early enough . the dragonfly is cool , just had not enough ss dialed in to get it sharp and the dog was too shallow .
well the croc had an argument a few moments earlier in the river with a smaller mate ... maybe he was still telling that bloke he should move .

What a result from an average oppurtunity ! Colours are so dynamic and accurate. That eye is mesmerizing and the detail right down to the bubbles is special. The lower shooting angle def works and mate.........that yelling from behind.........i know it so so well

thanx Basil .... for the kind comment .
image was taken about 3km after the main gate on rhs ... close to a nearby lodge . (main road )

Anette was yelling at me ... a few times during that trip , whenever I hopped off the car to get a better shooting angle

Really cool POV Andreas, I like this very much. As well as the colours and composition. And I love the dragon fly too, adds to the image.

Well exposed and processed, with great detail. Err...I would not shout at you if you hopped off the car, just drag you back by those grey socks And sandals

Enjoyed viewing, thank you so much Boetie!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
