    Haven't had much luck photographing Woodies this year.

    Such a beautiful bird. It's a shame they're so skittish. The lighting is very nice, but you really need more separation from the background to make the bird stand out. There's not much you can do about that now, but I think the image
    could use a bit more sharpening. It looks a bit soft now, particularly towards the bird's posterior.

    Come to Ottawa in October or April....they are as tame as mallards (habituated to people) and look so good during those times!

    I agree with the critique already provided, but I appreciate the look at the habitat here.
