Nice image Andreas, superb timing. Success for the bear...but also for the photographer capturing the moment!

Super techs, good framing, well exposed and nicely processed. A pleasure to view, thank you so much for sharing,

    Kind regards,

Super shot Andreas, everything important is in focus and details pretty good. I do note a difference in image presentation and colours - maybe a tad noisier. Is it because you have used ACR as opposed to DPP ?? It is good, but maybe just not quite so good as some previous images. I would have been pleased with the result in any event.

This is awesome Andreas, the catch and the water running-off from the fish is amazing. The eyes of the bear, the fish are clear and sharp ! Nicely done.

thanks folks for your kind comments , much appreciated .

@ Jon .... hope not all of my images do look the same for you . I just used acr after a very long time and started with the linear profile created with the dng editor of adobe . so I think the colors and tones could go deeper and more intense in some areas ... not sure about the noise visibility what you see ???!!! NR turned off in ACR like most of the times in DPP .... I let neat image do the job . but could be that some contrast manipulation have brought up some grain .... but I can live with it , actually I do not see . please do not forget it is the old 1dx .... not as good as mk ii and iii.

btw i am always struggling to get the right color into that bear coat , regardless which converter I use .

    cheers Andreas
