A portrait of a cheetah from Mara. The cheetah was lazing and woke up upon our arrival to glance at us with his ears turned backwards.

Lovely portrait, Sanjeev, my cuppa Very nice expression from the cheetah, great point of view, eyes straight into the lens. Those flies peppered all over its face add interest.

If this were mine I would do some small touches, like reduce brightness of the fur in the lower right corner (paw), and there's a tiny blue cast on the nose and here and there in the whites - it is quite faint so not a big issue... so up to you. And I am rather fussy about backgrounds so would perhaps reduce the bright spots there as well, just to make this beauty stand out even more.

Good detail and sharpness here, so crucial when one gets this close. Eyes are magnificent. I truly enjoyed viewing, this is the kind of image I always expect to see from you - a real treat for me, thank you for sharing!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Riveting! I like this one - a lot! I stare into the eyes and then all that wonderful detail around the face, it has me transfixed.
