    Hi folks ...
ups i have lost the rodents , so I had to look for something different and found a bear
image is from 2018 while staying in remote russia

kept the image quite dark as the day was dull grey and dark , still pushed the tones for a rather punchy look

Wow he is standing tall !! The pose is lovely, the low POV is awesome and the water running off from the paws is so cool!

Agree with Sanjeev - this is a very nice image Andreas, well composed, background looks good. Nice detail in the coat of the bear and head angle is great, I like the colours and tonality a lot - very nice work!

    Kind regards,

Hi Andreas, I am a little late in commenting, I have looked at the image often without commenting. The bear is magnificent, to be able to photograph that I would remember for the rest of my life. I recently watched a show on television titled Fear Island, two wildlife researchers and bear guard looking for the largest Brown bear on a Alaskan island. In that documentary when a bear raised up like this one it was looking for what it smelled. Most likely this bear smelled your presence, be careful... Thank you for sharing.

thanks Joe for swinging by and leave your comment , trust me , me and the rest of the photoggroup was safe while shooting those bears . At least in that situation .... as the bear got up to have a better view of the potential salmons coming across his way .
