    Hi folks ... still in gannet mood , but lost the color on the way to this site
    wanted to create something different , might not meet your expectations ... but I do like it .

    canon eon r3
    ef 70 -200 is l ii
    hh

    f 8 , iso 3200 , 1/ 2500 sec

    processed with dpp 4 and pscc 2022 , slight crop for comp

    Andreas:

    Very nice high key image, works well with this bird. Introspective pose. Well exposed, nice detail in the whites. From personal taste, since the bird is looking straight down, I might trim 20-25% of the free space above the birds head. Did a try a version with more room on the right?

    I could also see just a bit more contrast painted onto the birds face/bill. Helps it pop just a bit more. I played with the clarity setting in PS applied to the face area selectively, worked for me.

    Overall, quite striking.

    I think a pretty good job on the Gannet but not a big fan of a white bird on a white background. Good to see something a bit different.

    I agree with Randy on the crop suggestion. Nice job of processing, still up in the air about the B&W conversion. Wonder what the color version would look like?

    Very nice conversion Andreas, and such elegant pose from the subject. Well processed and nice detail where it matters, I agree with taking a bit off the top.
