One from earlier this year when I met up with Gail and Ann at DeSoto. There were a few knots getting ready for breeding season, but unfortunately it was the non-breeders that wanted to fly around

Nice one. SONY does not suck. This bird looks like it has a clam in its crop. Great seeing you at Gatorland.

A very pretty frame Mike, and not an easy subject to shoot in flight for certain.

Great eye contact and a cool, open flight position. That colorfully striated bkg is super sweet!

Perhaps a little noise reduction on the bkg? Just a bit grainy, but otherwise really like this one.

Super shot, the position of the legs and head permit a really good look, the details are excellent, the subtle background colours compliment the bird's plumage. It's a real peach!

Not much more to add...I agree with the positive comments made so far. Lovely feather detail, perfect flight pose with no shadows, and yes to the gradient pastel BG. TFS

Very nice image, Mike. Well exposed with good detail, nice head angle, sharp where needed. Lovely background too. It all works for me, lovely work!

PS Was wondering about the contents of the crop but then I read Artie's comment

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
