This Sacred Kingfisher was kind enough to remain perched for me. Basic adjustments in acr and ps. Some n/r and selective sharpening. Cropped for presentation.

Nice sharp image of this species Paul! I never have luck with Kingfishers perching for me, so I am envious. Good DOF, BG and overall pleasing image.

Nice one Paul....I like how the perch blends with the BG....I would try reducing the HL's around the neck and head area....

Paul, a nice, clean image of this guy.

Good and sharp, like your composition choice. Although the perch is just plain wood, I really like the diagonal effect - does add.

Just as a personal suggestion, I think a slight hand to make the colors pop a touch would really enhance this beautiful plumage. Even selective parts of the bkg.

Also, if you haven't played with using apply image to blend the whites, maybe take a peek at that. Could help a tad here.

    Nicely done, TFS!

Thanks so much for the feedback, much appreciated. I added a little pop and reduced the HL's as suggested. Thoughts?
