Missed them on the back this year, a friend takes me out on his boat. Hard to get both eyes in focus when the focus goes to one set, the red eyes, but I liked the light on the birds.
Very nice light, the slight angle of the chick back towards the adult helps with the DOF challenges. I would consider toning down the brightest highlights above the adults back in the reeds.
I have FN1 set for single point focus on my Z9 and use it when the eye detect is causing the the focus to move around and not allow me to position it where I want it. Helps when you are trying to finesse the DOF envelope.

Agree about the light being very nice here. Love that both the adult and chick are sharp! Unfortunate BG here though. The reeds are somewhat distracting from the subjects. Perhaps toning them down as Randy suggests might help with that.
