    Avian Sunrise Grebe

    Discovered a new location for Australasian Grebes and Great Crested Grebes. Unfortunately the GC Grebes were too far away for a good shot, but the Australasian Grebes were more obliging. This was just on sunrise. I really like the colours here.
    Processed in ACR and Photoshop, small crop only. A little selective NR/sharpening in Topaz.

    D500/500PF, 1/1600th sec@f6.3, iso1600, manual mode HH.

    Paul, a very simple shot. Nice early light and like the clean, muted water.

    Nicely processed over all. Good choice of composition from here. If you had the means to get a bit lower that would be one way to have improved it but pretty solid as is.

    Paul;

    Simple, clean, elegant.

    I appreciate Brian's comment about POV, but I find the reflections become increasingly distorted as you shoot from a lower angle, so it is always a trade off.
