    Default Early Morning Ruddy Turnstone.

    It was such a treat photographing a few species of shorebirds in breeding plumage a couple of weeks ago, as these guys normally skip right over us in spring. This beautiful turnstone look so good in the warm light of the low sun.

    Canon R6 + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/2500s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, small crop for comp.
