Default Florida Scrub Jay On Scrub Oak

I had post this image recently then looking at it I didn't like the composition, the bird should have been more left in the frame. I added canvas on the right to achieve what I thought was proper placement of the bird. I captured this image at a small refuge in southeast Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Joe:

This composition works well. Nicely exposed, sharp.

Tiny possible change. I might remove the small leaf behind your watermark. It is just bright enough and at the edge of the frame to call attention to itself.

    Cheers

Hi Joe .. nice one !!
I do like the overall presentation . The lovely colorful bird is jumping of the green and yellow scene .
Good work all around ... maybe a slight boost in the subjects darker tones ??!!

Hi Joe, agree with Randy about the removal of the small leaf at the foot, but also a tad/sliver more on the LHS? Interesting Andreas says boost the darker tones, I would go the other way and retain any finer detail, a slight lift in the shadows and perhaps have a play with the Colour Grading tools in Lr?
