    Default Gannet from Helgoland VII

Hi all after some days break I thought it is time to show up with another Gannet .
I like this one because of the long algae that this Gannet is flying around with , tried several times to land on the colony ..... it took him quite a while to find his partner .
More eye contact was not possible as they tend to look down ... before they do land , so most images I made had this head angle facing downwards .

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous threads

Very nice Andreas, very good control of the exposure with excellent detail. Not sure if its my old eyes perhaps a tad more USM on the head????

Love the wing position and especially the trailing seaweed. Again wishing for just a bit of head turn toward us.

Thanks Arthur .. i hear you regarding the head turn , sadly that is how they behave when flying close to the breeding colony . The head always pointed straight down . Even worse when you get them head on incoming ...
