    Hello everyone.

Sorry for another long absence as a lot of things are going at my end reg my career and work front.

Kudos to Anderas and Gabriela for getting things going on Wildlife forum.

This is a tiger sighting from my very recent trip to Bandhavgarh in May 2022. This tigress was approaching us in broad day light but was navigating through tall grasses and we were in good position for an eye level shot. I did managed to bag a few frames but grasses obstructed any clear view. In this particular frame I did managed a sharp frame but grasses were there all around the face which i tried to remove in PS. Nonetheless it is for you to comment upon.

DPP 4.12, PSCC 23, WB, curves, selective colour, sharpening , cropped and added slight canvas to the right.

Canon 1DX MK II, Canon 200-400mm with TC engaged @560mm, Bean bag support.

    ss 1/3200, f/5.6, iso 1600.

Looking forward for your comments and suggestions, be it of any nature.

    Haseeb.

Hi Haseeb, based on past posting this isn't really working for me. Colours appears, albeit faithful rather drab and I'm not sure it's that sharp. The central position could have ben enhanced by placing the subject more to the RHS and negative space to the left for me.

    Hello Haseeb,

So good to see you post again! I can see the difficulty you encountered at this sighting as it happens very often to me. Tall grasses are a pain and sometimes I wish for a breeze to move them away from the subject's face, it just isn't always possible
Your image does point to the elusiveness of the tiger and I quite like the idea overall, but unfortunately the subject isn't sharp, the eyes lack that 'sparkle', or clarity I am used to see in your images and the central placement isn't quite working for me.
I am sure you got more where this came from so looking forward to more posts from you, hope you don't find my comments upsetting...but you set such a high standard with your previous images

Wishing you a great rest of the week,

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Haseeb i bet it was a great encounter , the problem is your recent postings were all better on most counts compared to this one .... just from the technical POV . IMHO .
You did quite well with the overall exposure and the tones , not so sure about the " grass removal " .
Just for fun fire me the raw to see the original capture .
Hope the Tigers are doing well at that place .
Are the visitor numbers high again ??
