    I like the head on view and the sedges at the sides, I guess you had to cut the feet off due to focal length, having said that I feel the image composition is strong and attention holding, an interesting image.

    Getting this 'head on' with good DoF is hard, but you pulled it off Will. Colours and detail look good, but going landscape not portrait and truncating the subject isn't sadly working for me. The grasses to the RHS I do find distracting.

    Great stare, color, and detail! This is not an easy exposure but the flat light really aided the cause. Like Steve, I think a portrait crop would work better.

    Will, the colors just jump off the screen. That stare is unforgettable.

    Nice composition with the sticks/grasses framing it nicely. Beautifully exposed. Not a whole lot to critique, just a beauty!
