Hi Joe ... does look very good in terms of IQ and I specially like the wind swept feathers !!!
Perfect lighting and I do like the overall color and tone combo.

If you have a bit more room all around would be nice IMHO and does it need a counter clockwise rotation ??

I know that bird. Agree that the bird could use more room as well as the need for a CCW rotation. I think the shot would have benefitted from a lower POV as well. That said, IQ is there.

In like the wind blown feathers and raised foot a lot! I also feel it's a bit tight in the frame and yes to a slight CCW rotation.

Thanks everyone for viewing and commenting. Here is a edit rotating the image a bit CCW and more room all around. I couldn't shoot a a lower POV because I was running ahead of the bird to stay on the light angle as it walked along the surf line.

Always a treat to see this species. Sometimes the sloped beachline makes it tough for the straight horizon, but good call by fixing it. I love the wind-swept feathers as well.
