    A pair of Eiders on the old harbour wall...in my hometown.....The don't usually come into the harbour unless in the sea....so this was a surprise....HH...ACR and PS

    Nice to see them out of the water indeed. The rock wall is nice, and the vegetation habitat directly behind the eiders as well, but do wish the upper part of the frame was less prominent. Probably not much to do (opening up would not have done much difference) due to distance between you and the birds, and they of the background. Still a neat observance you got here!

    Looks good pleasing colours. I see what Dan referred to maybe if the opportunity represents itself take the image from a slightly higher standpoint if possible.

    Hi Will, nice pair you got.

    The habitat shot is nice and obliging poses for the camera with both.

    The plumage on the drake just feels a tad thin, appearing to perhaps benefit from a slight boost on the mids. However, I don't know this species first-hand so perhaps that is just the way they look this seeason.

    Would have been nice to have a touch lower perspective, but sometimes you play the cards your dealt.
