    Default Blue tailed damselfly (Ischnura elegans)

    First one I have seen on my garden pond this year, it kept hiding behind the stem and eventually I got this one. I used the long telephoto lens and converter as it proved impossible to get close enough to use the macro lens.

    I like it. Nice vertical framing and depth of field. Also like the way the plants frame the damselfly.
