This is another from the shore in my hometown ......My intention this time was to photograph a Gannet striking the water(60mph).....I managed to lock onto a few ....I liked this one, showing the bill in the water and the eye visible.....HH...ACR and PS.....

Love the timing and sharpness and esp. the soft light. I think that this one would work well as a perfect square.

Talk about perfect timing! I don't think this could get any better. The depiction of the tucked wings is perfect, and the eye allows the image to connect with the viewer. A little noise on the underwing, but nothing major. Excellent work. I can see this taking a few misses beforehand.....

Hi Dorian.....Yes a few misses, but not as much as I expected....Not bad for the 'old' Mk2 with the 2x on....Without eye detection
