Waterfowl is fun this time of year! This one seemed less than impressed with me lying along the wet grassy shoreline at a local pond. Normally quite skittish over here, but do respond to audio such as what happened here. This must be done first thing in the morning as they will simply stay in the middle of the pond, too far away, when other folks start showing up. Nice to be a morning person!

Lovely Dan - as pretty much always the ultra low perspective works and having some variation in the background is nice. I'm glad you left him slightly off centre, adds to the composition

Nicely done Dan love the stare down. Little bit of wake helps overall. Yes it is good to be that morning person. TFS

Beautiful angle and view! I think the lanscape canvas works well even with a mostly-vertical subject. Noise handled perfectly. I've never lived in the summer range of ducks and hence have not been party to taping them!
