    Default Canadian Goose Gosling

Hi folks another one from yesterday ... taken in shadow surroundings .

Love the feeding " process" when those goslings are fiddling to feed on " large " pieces of food .
Even F8 was not enough to get the head and the beak sharp in capture .... had to play trickery with the beak to add some fake sharpness , does look simply better than the original . But cannot cope with real sharpness .
The white flower blob in front of the Gosling might be not ideal ....

    F8 ; Iso 6400 ; 1/2000 sec

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2022 ; slight crop

Thanks for commenting to my previous posting

    Cheers Andreas

Shame about the depth of field issue, but I don't think it's possible to get it all sharp no matter what the f-stop when you're head on so close. Nice feeding timing, flower not ideal but natural so not a deal breaker for me

Excellent IQ at ISO6400 Andreas, the HA is a bit quirky which I feel works with the age of subject. Bold and vibrant colours and I like the daisy's peppering the habitat. Perhaps some dogging/burning on the head to add a hint more form, ditto luniostiy on the tongue???? With the shape of the body perhaps going tighter with the 1.4 may have offered a stronger comp?

Excellent details on the face, Andreas. Flower in front of chest is a bummer, but the setting is fun. I'd like more room to the left of the bird.

Love he expression on the duckling and the open bill is a plus! I do wish the flower in the chest wasn't there, but I like the surroundings. Nice work!

Such an adorable frame Andreas. The subject himself is so nice, the grasses though.... yeah, pumps this one up big time.

Then, the in and oof flowers... just a killer beautiful frame of a very common subjects. Great photographers do such things ;-)

Fantastic to view, thank you BD !!!!
