Quite frequently heard not so frequently seen. In all the years I have been photographing birds this is the clearest view I have had of one. I suspect this is a first for the forum, I cannot recall seeing one posted previously. I have been back several times to see if I could get a clearer shot but it has disappeared.

Hi Jon, nice calling pose and the IQ looks a bit better. I would certainly loose the OOF stem in the beak, it will be an improvement. Looks a tad warm from magenta, but your call. Glad you managed to get out in between chores, hope all goes well today.

Hi Jon ... glad you managed this capture .
Nice calling pose and I do not mind the cluttered BG ... specially not the shooting a rare bird , but this is just me .

I would raise again the brightness , personal taste .
If this would be mine , the soft head would bother me .... the side of the wing is. a lot sharper and defined . Just my take .

Another fine 'natural' looking image....A wee bit of a head turn towards us would look good, if you have any.....Well captured....still to see one....
